I'd like to hear what's going on. Myself, when I took my console apart, it took me a couple minutes until i found the broken wire. My "08" had just white wires, so I thought, until i went farther back in the harness. I left the harness tie down unhooked so it had more room to move. I'd probably check the wires down there again. I thought you did say it worked for a lil bit? Good luck.
