Good evening,

Can anybody recommend a good (or great) heavy duty power steering gear box for a 2006 H2? Whenever something starts to fail, I'm trying to replace it with something better, stronger, etc. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I've upgraded to the AGR super Box and pump and it works very well for me with my 38 mt tires, in spite of some bad review out there.

 

I had a Red Head steering box on my rig. You might want to consider upgrading the power steering box too. I went with a 12 vane stock GM unit for a Duramax

AC Delco 20756713

and it greatly improved the steering and braking. Anyone reading this also should be careful when changing power steering pumps to make sure they get the right one with the high flow valve. A stock passenger car valve will not allow enough fluid or pressure to run the H2 steering and brake system.
