Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default H2 engine backfire?

Yesterday early eveningI had just merged onto a highway, going to Texas roadhouse in Robinson for you Pittsburgh bro's. It's a slight upward grade and I had reached a crusing speed of 55-60 mph. All of a sudden I thought that I had heard a backfire. It was a muffled "pop" sound. I don't think that I felt the engine stumble. I don't know. I then thought that maybe I had hit something like a bird, but when I looked I didn't see anything that would have indicated that.

Never happened to me ..........yet.....If the motor is running ok, I would not worry about it......You could take it back to Cochran, but they say any engine problem will tag the light...So if your light is not on, they can not find a problem......The main Hummer guy (ed) is out for a while and there is temp in his place. He does not seem to know that much. BTW, were you up 28 last week? I saw a sand H2 that I have not seen around here before.

Humm, 28. Man it's hard to remember what I did this morning. LOL! I don't think so, but where about on 28? The guy filling in for Ed. Yeah I spoke with him yesterday. I think his name is Joe. I had a question for him about how much he would charge to replace the tierods, pitman, and center link. He quoted around $450. And you're right, he doesn't know much.

you have an 07 H3? I will be out that way Sunday. My mom and dad live in Murraysville and I go out there to cut their grass. And no that wasn't me, but I wouldn't mind meeting up sometime to check out your rig.

They are putting a bumper on the H2 , so they gave me the 3 to drive. Very nice. Should have mine back by the end of the week.
