GM 89059688 Transfer Case Motor install
Hey everyone,
I recently pressure-washed the lower area of my 2006 H2 and as a result, the Transfer Case Motor needs to be replaced. When I received the "Service AWD" message, the H2 was on 4H, but now it doesn't show where it is. I have ordered the original Transfer Case Motor, and I have seen videos of people installing it without jacking up the truck, while others suggest jacking up the truck and putting the transfer case on neutral.
My question is: since my truck was in 4H when this happened, can I just add the new motor and select the last position on the 4WD selector?
Thanks in advance
