Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Front End Meltdown - What's the best options these days?

My 2003 failed State Inspection (PA) today. Culprit was too much play in steering and needing a new pitman and idler. Also both front wheel hub bearings are shot... Good stuff... Not. Anyway not unexpected and I knew it was coming but until they drop a $3500 repair bill on you it was all fun and games... Yes 3500 for Pitman, Idler and 2 Wheel Bearings and what looks like 8hrs of labor. (Chevy Dealer)

Anyway, curious what my options are the days. Kryptonite still the go to? Other more cost effective options that perform better than stock? Stock improved over the years and will stand the test of time?

Just looking for feedback from those who have more recently replaced front end components and thoughts. Lots of posts but most dated many many years back...

The dealer is probably not going to install anything other than OEM parts, if you want to go aftermarket parts, you will need to find an independent alignment shop.
How many miles are on your truck, do you off road it? If not then the OEM parts will be fine and much better than the parts store chinese junk.

Yeah, I should have been clear. I am doing the work myself. I mentioned the dealer quote for laughs and giggles... My bad... No actual Hummer H2 owner was harmed in the posting of this text
