Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Finally after owning my H2 for 19 years...

Had my H2 Adventure Pack since 2004, brand new. The car went through hell and back being my daily and errands car. within the past 6-7 years, the wear and tear started appearing. Rust and usual common electrical failures. This year, I suddenly decided to refresh the H2 and give it some upgrades it deserves. First, I focused on replacing the OEM lights with LED, and adding light bars. Next, was wheels. For my next task, I'll be dealing with all the side step and bumper rust. Not sure what else I plan to do with her.

She now has an instagram too--> @thedailyh2

So far here's what I've done:
  • LED Headlights & Fog Lights
  • Lightbars
  • LED Cab lights, side signals and 3rd brake (smoked)
  • Smoked turn signal & Taillight covers
  • Wrapped front grille
  • Rear airbags to coils conversion
  • Black Rhino Primm wheels 17x9, ET 0, BS 5"

WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT??

Really NICE upgrades, I'm sure it feels like you're driving a whole new H2 now! Have you ever thought about a tune, I put one on my 08' & it's like Nite & Day difference now. JMO

Enjoyed the pictures. You can use black trim restorer. Lasts about 4 months. It will make the Hummer logo in the rear super black as well as the front trim. Actually use the stuff on the interior as well. Its great. Congrats man.

Get a black plastic dye. Permanent.
Do not use black trim restorers. All junk wax coatings, and do not last long.

Really nice and looks great. Love the wheels. I truly believe that the Hummer was meant to be yellow... it really is the best color!

Here are a couple thoughts to love on that Hummer...
  • Find replacement running boards in black...
  • New foam and upholstery for your drivers seat will make it feel like a new car
  • Add a Gobi roof rack with rear ladder and it add a whole new look
  • Black out the chrome on those side mirrors
  • Consider adding a dual rear exhaust - Magnaflow and Borla offer one... while change the look of the rear

Question... how was the front grille wrapped? I want to do something similar and my installer is not sure if it can be done. Any ideas on what your installer did?

yup , inspired by the movies Bad Boys 2 haha.
-Running boards, the thing is, don't think we have a shop here locally. I order all my parts from the US and shipping boards would cost a lot. Thats why I thought of just restoring my current.
for the upholstery, yes definitely will refurbish that.
The mirrors, I agree.. funny, back in like 05 I installed those ugly chrome kits (door handles, taillight cover etc..) the other day was trying to ****** the chrome mirrors thinking it was one of the chrome covers i installed haha.. turns out, its how it came.
I used to have a custom tailpipe back in like 06.. with a muffler delete.. my god I was living in a different phase back then haha

I still have other plans for the car.. just installed a 2nd multimedia display..
