Default excessive bounce ?

03 h2, with new 5100 bilstein shocks, new bump stops, and all sway bar ends seem in great shape, it still bounces a lot. of course this is my first hummer, previous six wranglers with hardly any bounce, thanks for any ideas that I should do, or do you think it just might be normal to the H2

Did you replace the sway bar end links?
By chance, I replaced mine & the difference it made was night & day. They reduced a lot of the bounce in the rear end & smoothed everything out.

I hadn't even planned on upgrading them, but i was itching to do a small upgrade & this seemed to be ok, costing me only $60 to do & 20 min (mostly hunting for tools lol). They bushings didn't look that bad to me or anything, but they were obviously spent. It's not such an expensive upgrade that you'll regret doing the swap.

I ordered the proforged end links on amazon.
There's other options for the H2 as well there. Probably anything will be an improvement over stock if the stock bushings are worn out.

Im not sure whats too much bounce for you . If you coming from a hard suspension then Hummer will feels very soft .
However I felt a little more bounce after replacing the Oem shocks for bilstein and the new Tires makes a huge difference also
Before Khumo hardly any bounce . Now with Duratracks feel very bouncy
I dont mind the feeling. In fact I like it
What are the tires in your truck

H2miami, I just installed 315/70/17 Nitto trail grapplers and noticed no difference in the ride, well maybe a little harder, but still a lot of bounce and roll when you hit a water ditch (dip) at a angle, Have not had it offroad much yet, around 100 in the desert, which is our playground come the cooler weather. My H2 was purchased mainly for offroad as we go out the drive in our winter place and we are OFFROAD BTW had Duratraks on my last JK loved them, but thought they might be too soft on the H2

I will look for.another hummer driver in your area to compare rides .

Is the H2 is stock . No lifted?

Btw Fixed a lot.of problems after replacing.the steering damper
