Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Air suspension question.

Hi All,

I’m a fairly new H2 owner.
I have had some problems with the air suspension and have just changed the suspension sensors to new ones. I would be grateful if someone could explain if my air suspension works correctly.

Before I start the engine, the air suspension is at its lowest position. When I start the engine I could hear the compressor and the suspension raise about 7-10cm and then the compressor stops.
I think the suspension started at a much higher position before the sensors where changed.
Do they work as intended now, or should the suspension maintain it height when the engine is off?

It should maintain its height when off..... You may need to find a shop with a Tech2 (or a GM dealership who will have one) to recalibrate the air suspension for the new sensors.
