ac not working

ac not working
after having a bad ambient temp sensor replaced my ac that had stopped working came back up for only a day only to stop working again . i checked the freon fuse and relay all check out ok . dont know what else to check .

Ambient air temp must be above 45*F for the AC to operate in auto.
Have you tried manual operation, if the sensor fails the controller will default to a set temp (in manual) and should still function. The default temp can be seen on a tech 2, I don't remember off the top of my head exactly what page on the tech2 it is. All temps should be accessible under the AC diagnostics, it will be obvious if the Ambient temp reading is actual or at default.. if "Ice Possible" is displayed on the DIC you have issues with either the sensor, wiring or another component is interfering with the signal.
