Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default 2008 Interior Upgrade

Just purchased an '03 H2 but want to install the 2008's interior. Has anyone in here ever attempted this? Should be able to complete for a few thousand especially since I found an entire seat set from a wrecker. Also, how hard is it to mount the spare on the back of the truck instead of the stock interior mount? If anyone has any install tips please let me know.

Rear bumper mount spare tire carrier isn't hard to do and frees up the back of the Hummer. Well worth the cost/effort. No idea on swapping out the interior IMO not worth the cost/effort.

just design a whole new interior while you are at it......seriously redesign the interior out of fiberglass and you can do some sick custom stuff

Yeah, I think it would be almost IMPOSSIBLE to install the 08 interior unless you buy EVERY PIECE from the dealer or website. That's ALOT of pieces and ALOT of CA$H!!!

If you want the actual 08 interior then that will include all the new Dash which is going to be pricy. If you just want the two tone look of the 08, then go Katzkin. If you go Custom upholterer, then one Front seat will cost you around $550.00 to reupholster in Black leather, including material.

This was a major update - and it isn't as simple as plug-and-play parts..

The seats, for one, have a completely different bolt pattern...

Why not cover the interior with leather...probably cheaper than swapping out for an 08 and will be more exclusive. Good luck with your interior upgrade. I never minded the more utilitarian plastic interior myself....easy to clean and it is a HUMMER in the end. Cheers, Indy.

Cheaper to buy a 2008. A interior swap will cost big $$$ and really add no value.
