H1 Hummer
Thought I had responded to this before but I guess not.
I own a 1997-1/2 Fly Yellow H1 6.5 Turbo open top. When I bought it in 2005 in CA it only had 17,000 miles on the odometer and I was told it had been garaged somewhere in Colorado for most of its life. Another story was that it may have belonged to an ex-governor of CA.
The last problem I brought to this forum concerning this truck has been resolved. The front right tire was leaking air. I had to replace a small quick disconnect part and now everything is working fine. Thanks for all the help that members gave me in tracking down the source of the leak!!!

how many H1 do we have out there?
Put me down for a 95 white 2door 6.5 turbo hardtop baja that was my chase truck for the AMGeneral and later GM factory sponsored Hummer race team before I was given the opportunity to get into the race trucks. It carries 167 gallons of fuel, 4 spare tires and every part needed to keep an H1 racing. It's a rare configuration but I love it. I bought it in 95 and built it from scratch. It doesn't look like most H1's I've NEVER washed it and it appears it's been scrubbed with a rake but runs like a top and has never let me down.

Just noticed that you and I both own a 1997-1/2 H1 Fly yellow Open Top Hummer.
Mine is in the shop now b/c of a CTIS leak in the front tires. I'm trying to get it fixed in the next 2 days so I can resume my surf fishing addiction.
