Ron has a one of a kind air suspension system he has been working on for a few years.

it's a much smoother ride and variable height so I can gain clearance when needed and still fit in garages (I'm in LA). I keep it around the stock height most of the time -- around 17" front, 18" rear. When wheeling I can get up to 20" down the middle (with 37's). With some bigger tires and some balljoint mods coming soon maybe another 3 inches?

it's a custom set-up, but not that different from any other ifs/irs vehicle that's been bagged. Not for the faint of heart -- it took patience and some $$ to get it right as there are few who have done it and even fewer who have actually wheeled them. So far it works well, but has the same little problems all air systems. It's still a work in preogress.

that was my fist trip with the bags. A great trip until the end when Troy's bolts sheared off his steering gear, halfshaft broke, then his wheel was ripped off while being dragged sideways. The problem I mentioned on the previous page (wheels going in opposite directions) was caused by the milemarker bumper allowing too much play in the a-arm bolts. A long day for sure.
