Hey guys if you have never been to Windrock to wheel this is the perfect opportunity for you to get out. Last year we had 40 some Hummers and we all had a great time. Take a look at the thread that was posted for last years event and you can see how awesome the place really is.

THE HUMMER CLUB, INC. PRESENTS WINDROCK 2009!!!! BE THERE!!!!

The Club will hold its Annual Meeting at this event. In addition to the election of four Board members, whose terms are expiring, we will have an open discussion format about future plans for the Club. So, bring your ideas and join fellow Club members at Windrock. We are anticipating a large turnout for this event so register on-line and get your hotel reservation booked early.

The Windrock venue provides trails for all skill levels. It is an excellent venue for your first off road adventure with your Hummer. If you want to be challenged, we can also accomodate that!

As of now we have over 40 Trucks and 100 people registered. This event is going to be HUGE!

 

Windrock is an awesome place, guys. It's probably my favorite place I've ever wheeled. If it's at all practical to make this trip, I would highly reccomend it. Below is a post I originally made on another forum. I copied it over here for you.

We went to Windrock in Oliver Springs, TN last week. Had a pretty good time. Place was virtually abandoned, so we kept everything pretty tame. It's not a place I would want to be stuck without help. First two pictures are of the TVA windmills. Apparently, you could once go right up to the base, but enough knuckleheads tore things up that it's now gated and this is as close as you can get. Third picture is of a mine. Not something you see where I'm from. Fourth is of a beautiful Timber Rattler that was sharing the trails with us. Remaining pictures are obviously of the H3.
